BacheloDegree iRegional Development Planning(BDRP)

The general objective of the Bachelor Degre ecourse in Regional DevelopmenPlanning is to impart knowledge to students on regional planning. Specifically,   it intends to: equip   students with skills of conductinresearch on regional development issues;enable students facilitate preparation of regional developmenplans; equip students with skills of coordinatioand implementation oregional development plans; enable students monitorplan implementation and to enable students correlate practice with policy tenetspertaining to sustainablregional development and poverty reduction.

Upon completion of this course, the graduates are expected to be competent in the application of knowledge and skills in a wide range and unpredictable variety of context sin Regional Development Planning with substantial personal responsibility anresponsibility for the allocation of resources at various spatial levels. Moreover,the graduates are expected to b eresponsible for policy formulationplanning, execution, monitorinand evaluation of projects/programmes related to rural sector development. The course durationis three years.
